Origin Story
First held in 2013, the Orange County Improv Festival was conceived to celebrate the growing and diverse improv community of Orange County, California. Despite prevailing opinions that Orange County is a homogenized wasteland devoid of culture, the OC Improv Fest seeks to expose the vibrant comedy taking place behind the "Orange Curtain." The largest improv event in Orange County, the OC Improv Fest is committed to the celebration and elevation of improvisation, as well as forging friendships across cities and states with like-minded performers.

What We Offer the Audience
The festival runs 4 spectacular nights in April. Each night of the fest is broken into blocks of shows that incorporate a variety of styles and formats. Attendees can buy a specific block, a whole night, or the whole fest, with increasing discounts.

What We Offer Your Team
Creating a lasting friendship between your team and our community is very important to us. Every night of the fest is a celebration. Every night is an opportunity to network and bond with fellow improvisers. Performers are invited to watch all festival shows for free (seats permitting). Visiting performers also get priority registration for festival workshops.

What Else?
Orange County is the perfect place to take an improv vacation. Disneyland and the Pacific Ocean are just a short drive away, and we're strategically located 45 minutes from Los Angeles and 90 minutes from San Diego. Our theater is right next to a Metro and Amtrak station, and walking distance from Downtown Fullerton, full of bars and restaurants. If you're interested in getting involved or teaching a workshop, please email OCImprovFest@gmail.com with details.
